OPGW Installation Caution 1

1.Fault clearing and site preparation

Before laying OPGW,should do a survey for the whole line, clearing obstacles,signed with the relevant
authorities  cross-cutting agreement to build protective frame, prepare tensile machine, traction
machine's operation site and the necessary safety measures.

2. OPGW cable storage
OPGW cable tray may not be in a flat state, shall not be stacked; the direction of rotation arrow plate
installed OPGW cable shall be indicated in the short roll disc; cable tray loading and unloading shall be
subjected to collision, extrusion, and any mechanical damage, plug the car handling.

3. OPGW cable and fittings accessories' inspection
After OPGW cable and fiting acessories arrive at the site, on-site visual inspection should be carried
out immediatelyand tested. Check  the factory report, verify changes during transport. In addition to the
provisions of the contract, the general OPGW engineering materials including Down-leading Clamp,
Tesion clamp, dogbone vebration hammer,terminal box, installation tools ,grounding wire, shelf for
residual cable.
